Singing the Blues for a Wedding

A quick look at a sweet spring wedding all in blue and white.

This couple wanted simple and classic. These mothers' flowers are just that - a soft pin on corsage with freesia and muscari for one and the daintiest of stephanotis and waxflower nosegays for the other.

Not the greatest picture but grabbed a shot of the bride and maid of honor's bouquets while packing. Rather important to stay on schedule for a wedding, so no time for a more composed photo.

The bride on the left has the three flowers she wanted - white lilies, blue hydrangea, and stephanotis. Notice the little blue pearls in the centers of the stephanotis - a nice detail to tie everything together!

The maid of honor has white hydrangea and blue muscari which you might also know as grape hyacinth, a super springy bloom.

Mounds of light blue hydrangeas for every dinner table.

The hall was set for a ceremony on the stage, with dinner tables to the left and right behind curtains.

More beautiful blue and white blooms for the stage - are you feeling the blue and white thing?! My baby's got the blues, but not the moody blues!

When asked if they chose Tuckerman Hall because it fit their blue color scheme or if they chose blue to go with the hall, the bride and groom replied that they loved Tuckerman and wanted their wedding decor to amplify what was already there!

This is a brilliant way to make everything you do seem like so much more. Make the most of your wedding venue's strengths. Don't put your energies into trying to change it into something it's not.

You didn't do that with your man, right? ;-)
