I promised you a few more birthday party posts - here you go!
We decorated the outside for our 10th birthday party, but we wanted to give a little eye candy inside as well, so we each made a little something.
Francoise made this colorful fall delight - pheasant feathers, twigs, and vine balls were her starting point and she wove flowers in and around them.
The phalaenopsis orchids we got this week were amazing and here are some spotted ones mixed with fall hydrangeas, Chinese lanterns, hypericum berries, mokara orchids, and some very cool eucalyptus nuts.
I did a linked piece with callas and the new flat wire...it kind of all blends into the stuff going on outside the window, but you get the idea. ;-)
Kae constructed this forest inspired piece - lots and lots of texture going on here - a birch log, orchids, grasses, celosia, dahlias...
...and lots of amazing succulents! Love the variety - from the chunky almost stone like one on the left to the fuzzy one at the bottom - so much to see, yeah!
