Flowers at Home - Camellia, You're Breaking my Heart!

In the winter time, we can sometimes get camellia foliage, a nice glossy dark green leaf on woody branches. They're actually the same family of plants that bring you a nice hot cup of tea.

A lot of the time, the branches come with a few flower buds on them. And if I'm very, very lucky, a couple of those buds will open!

But I've been waiting for this one to open for 2 weeks! I'm patient, but this is getting silly. I think it might dry up and fall of without opening.

But I'm hoping not!
